For sale is one UNROOTED potted San Pedro tip cutting that was sustainably harvested from my personal patch in southern California. I am listing this cactus unrooted in response to a number of email requests relating to my store being out of rooted cactus. This cactus measures 6” and has been planted in a 3.5” square nursery pot. This particular cutting has been in the rooting process for approximately 3 weeks and should have a stable root system by this upcoming spring. The pictures you see of this cutting are from the actual cactus you will receive, they are not generic photos.
Since this cactus was sourced from a overgrown outdoor patch, it should be noted there will be pieces that have some form of scarring on them. This is completely natural and does not affect growth. My cuttings range in all sizes, so please make sure to check out all the other listings that are up.
Potted (Unrooted) San Pedro (Trichocereus pachanoi) - 6"
If you are in a warm growing zone then your cactus will be fine outside year round. Just make sure to keep them in shady areas during the hot seasons. If you are in a growing zone with freezing temperatures, you will need to move your cacti inside during the winter months. Make sure to keep them near a window that gets the most amount of sunlight per day possible. In any growing zones, DO NOT overwater. A proper misting daily in the morning and early evening, with a light watering weekly, will be more than sufficient to promote healthy growth.
